So relieved, yesterday she started to get a bit more active, her nose is wet and cold!!
And this morning I took her for a little walk, and she was FREEZING again, so that to me is a sign that the meds are working. She just did a bit of gagging after the walk, but maybe we did too much (which really wasn't). Anyhow thank you all for caring, and hopefully within the week Fiona will be as good as she can be, we have to continue her steroids for another 7 days. Lucy and Kip have been especially sweet to her .
BTW: Fiona is not choosing to sleep in the bed these days, do you think it's because she is not well? She doesn't ask to come up, on the weekend she did once at around 6am, but I discovered why....poor thing went potty on the bathroom mat-wish I had realized that she had to go (result of Lasix ).

I was thankful the accident happened on my white bath mat, and not anywhere uncarpeted. Easy bleached wash.

Positive reports are always good to hear. If Fi still feeling the effects of the respiratory infection, and prednisone can have all kinds of side effects, I'd let her sleep where she wants, as long as it is close by and you know where she is. It is good Kip and Lucy as being good sisters to Fiona. |

| So very glad to hear this news Layla. Sorry about the accident though, we've gotten used it here. LOL Jack sleeps with us and sometimes at night will "leak" a little. Perfect cure to prevent getting to the mattress, Potty pads under the fitted sheet where Jackie lays and I change the sheets if he has had a boo boo. Sometimes he just stops where he is and just pee's, doesn't even lift his leg like usual and we know that it was just a sudden attack of having to go and not making it outside. He always seems so embarrassed, poor baby. Phil got us a steam cleaner for the large area rugs, the rest are throw in the washer rugs since we have tile and wood floors clean up is so much easier. The difference the meds make though make it all worth while. Jack had his check up today with his blood work which we should know the results tomorrow. This will tell us how the meds are affecting Jack's system. But he has been ever so much better since being on them. |

| She is feeling better, but now the side effects are kicking in. I feel so bad, today is the last day I am giving her the meds, I think a whole pill is too much for her. |
