Hi Peeps! I'm busting at the seams to share some awesome news...I previously posted a couple of months back that we had moved to a new apartment in the middle of Houston and that I was miserable because there is absolutely NO place to walk Cookie. Well...good news...we just bought a house!!!

It's in The Woodlands, TX (where I went to HS) and there are a ton of trees, walking paths, squirrels, bunny rabbits, etc.  Our new home is 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with a yard and a pool. We close Feb 23rd...so only less then a month of living in the heart of H-Town...wooohooo!

I also have some other news...Cookie will have a new brother or sister in September...the HUMAN kind!  Yep..I'm preggers at the elderly age of 37..hehe.

Just wanted to share with you guys..hope everyone is doing great.

Oh also...I know alot of you are friends of mine on FaceBook...I am holding back on this information on there because I don't want Jake (my 13 year old) to know just yet..so don't say anything to me on there for now  

Congrats! When are you due, and when do you get to have a sonogram, to find out if it is a boy or girl, or twins....?

Congratulations!!!  That's great news about the house...you'll be in it and nesting in no time....Keep us posted on your pregnancy!!

Thanks Yall! Not sure when my due date is...going to see the Dr. and get a sonogram done in 2 weeks so will know then. Donna..funny you should mention twins...I'm at high risk for having them...we have numerous sets on both sides of my family and that combined with my age (chances of having them go up the older you get)...Lord Help Me.

Well, if you do have twins, considering your age, at least there will be siblings same age...If not Jake will be there...Does he know yet? Does Grandmom, and Granddad know, yet? Any other plans, in the making, that you would like to share?

Donna...neither of our teenagers know yet...that's going to be touchy telling them. As far as any other news...our longtime plan is to have a civil ceremony in front of a judge probably in April, and then have a big Catholic wedding next Spring when I can hopefully be skinny again. With the baby on the way and buying/getting the house ready, we are extremely strapped financially...and very busy so no time to plan the kind of wedding I want right now. We are about to meet with a priest to get some counseling and advice...we want to do this properly.

Cool..Do your parents know yet? You can pm if you want, just wondering...You are going to be very busy, for a while now...

Yes..all family members know (except the boys)...everyone is thrilled.

Great, at least that part is over...

Congrats!!!!  I am so happy for you and I wish you all the best.  Pop in every now and then to let know how everything is progressing.  Don't forget to share pics of the new house .
