10.  The Host by Stephanie Meyer

11.  Tribute by Nora Roberts

12.  The Beach House by Jane Green

13.  Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin

14.  Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer

15.  Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson

SWEET~!! I didn't kow that Janet Evonich had #14 out yet! I just started 13 yesterday (late) and was thinking I might have to wait a while before 14 came out. I'm so excited. I LOVE her books!!

oops- that's Evanovich (bad fingers!)

If you haven't read her series yet- and you like mysteries, romance and humor- these are great!! The main character is a female bounty hunter in Jersey. They really are a riot- the only books that have ever made me laugh out loud!! I can't get enough!

You will love 14!! It's excellent. Really good. Lula cracks me up in this one!

My favorite thing in her books was the cable company.......F*^*&^s!!

You will get it when  you read........I am still giggling!

Yes, I've read all her books both in this series and in the other two series she has going...the Metro Girl series and the Full series she writes with Charlotte Hughes. I also listen to these on CDs too. The reader, CJ Critt, is very good with the voices for the different characters.

Always a big fan of Evanovich, buy and read her books the minute they're released. Stephanie Meyer writes that Vampire series that's geared more toward young adults, I think. Her latest just came out. My daughter, Mary has read them all. I think she's gotten so much press and attention that her previous releases are still very hot and they're getting ready to release the movie version of the first book, so that's contributing to all the attention, too.

I always read Nora Roberts and finished Tribute already - very good.

I want to read The Last Lecture....there's a video out on it. He was a professor in Pittsburgh who recently died of pancreatic cancer. He gave a lecture in a series done at the University (can't remember which one off the top of my head) and it was (from what I hear) absolutely moving and astounding.

I've been listening to "the Appeal" by John Grisham on a radio program that reads a chapter a day. It lasts about 3-4 weeks. It's set in Mississippi and starts out with a court case against a chemical company who illegally dumps stuff and poisons the water causing a high rate of cancer in the county.

On my way to the library - had to check in after the vampire posts to get the authors and thought I could add to this  one...

Battle Of The Labyrinth by Rick Riordan, my son and daughter love this series, it's a new one - and  he just got it for his birthday (he's 12)

The Shack - LOVED this personally - read it in one sitting.  Set here in the PDX area by a local writer.  It is a faith based fiction, but without giving away too much his God as a minority woman is AWESOME!  jmho....

Ewww...probably won't be until sometime next year as the hard cover version was just released not too long ago. I think generally the paperback version comes out right before or at the same time as the newest hard cover in the series.

Yup ... the paperback of the previous book comes out around the same time as the new hardcover ... It's been in June the past several years. I get 'em an read 'em right away. A few of us coworkers take turns buying the books. It's a great way to share. Fourteen was fun!!!!

I'm listening to Fearless 14 on CD right now. The drivers around me must think I'm crazy, laughing like a loon with tears in my eyes. I'll probably finish it up on my way home from work today.

Pam can you use wilbor.lib.overdrive.com ?
i guess libraries sign up for it and then patrons use their library card and "check out" books online (audio versions).
My librarian sent it to me but i haven't tried it yet. I don't know if it's just in Iowa or all over.

I've never heard of it.  I'll ask our librarians about it.  Do you download the audio books onto an ipod or mp3 player?  I don't have either one of those, just regular CD players.

It downloads to your desktop, and if you leave it there, it checks itself back in at the end of like 7 days.
Or you can take it from your desktop and put it on an ipod or similar machine.
I guess some of them allow you to also copy to a cd.
She likes the idea of not having to purchase alot of audio, and also loosing the whole book if one cd gets ruined.
i think you can go to the website and look it over if you want. You just can't check anything out without your library card.
