I have seen tons of rattie loves from NC and GA here, but are there any SC?
Especially those in the Upstate? I'm in Spartanburg county. |

I got directions to North Augusta on google maps and it was as I thought: It's about two hours away (actually two hours fifteen minutes). So you and I are four to four and a half hours apart. Not that close...
I actually live close-ish to the NC border. It's about forty five minutes I think to the border from here... Asheville I think is about an hour and a half away... and Charlotte is about the same on a different interstate.
Atlanta is about four to five hours away. |

Where along the border Jolene? I live in Spartanburg county in SC, which borders Polk County in NC. I live probably forty five minutes from the border.
And I have some friends in Charleston, Storm. It's a beautiful city, but a bit too hot for me in the summer! It gets just as "hot" here (maybe a degree or two cooler), but the humidity in Charleston makes it feel much hotter... Still I desperately miss the ocean. I was born on the coats in NJ, and the ocean is in my blood... but for the past fifteen years, it's also been hours away. (I can't imagine living in the midwest where you can't even go to the ocean without day's drive or a plane ride!) |

I moved when I was 16 but I was in the class of 1996. I am OLD!  That is too cool!! Small world! I still have family that live in Woodruff and we visit a couple times a year. |

I am in Fountain Inn, SC and not far from Woodruff. I actually go through Woodruff to get to Spartanburg at least once a month for my SCI peer support group meeting.
I am new to the group and I have three rat terriers - Cream Puff, Beauford, and Princess in addition to my other two big dogs and three cats.

Yes, I totally know where Fountain Inn is! We're very close to each other (well compared to many people on here anyway). Maybe we should have a rattie playdate sometime, maybe in Woodruff or Spartanburg. (I actually live north of Woodruff, in Switzer, close to Roebuck).)
Welcome to the site! I just have the one rattie, Sophie. But I live with my parents (just graduated college) and they have Radar the "big" dog, two cats, and two goats. |
