they said he doesnt need to get it done for a little bit, but the trips just gonna make it worse..olus tir4d are expensive and the trip isnt going to be affordable at the same time as the tired....ill talk to him again but i just dont think its gonna work this time  im dissapointed...we will see |

| thats an option Paula, but I think the biggest problem is bot the tires themselves, but the cost of the tires right around the same time as the trip...in other worlds, the trip money n eeds to be used for the tires....it IS a new HONDA thought, so it MAY be covered, we need to look into it, he just got it last June I think....hmmmmm |

Mary, I know this would be a lot to ask of them BUT, do you or Michael have family close by that you can swap vehicles with for the weekend?? You have to come,you just have to!! |

THE MEANING OF RESCUE
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage
Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry -
So much to regret.
Hmm... Yes there it is, right on the top
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,
And there by my leash hides Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave -
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me.
Will you add to my baggage?
Will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things -
And take me right back?
Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage,
To never repack?
I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage -
Will you still want me?

im so sad and dissapointed....Michael just found out that he needs new tires on the car that we were going to drive to TN.. This would be the same money that we were planning to use for the trip....were not going to be able to do it this time
Oh Mary,
I know just how you are feeling. I can't go either mostly due to money constraints. I get sad everytime I think about it. But maybe we can both start saving now for next year!!
I'm so sorry you and yours won't be there.

Mary, I just saw the video of Trixi and Toa in your kitchen. I love the one of Trixi jumping to see the bacon. I so want to meet you and your babies. They are so cute. I had an idea. Take the tax incentive that you and Michael will get and use that towards the tires. It should be mailed in May if you filed your taxes. Also, it does seem like the tires should still be under warranty since they are not even 1 year old. Did you check that option out?

Thanks guys for caring so much! I just called HONDA and they said that its a separate TIRE warranty so i need to find the paperwork tonight and see what kind of warranty it is! HOPEFULLY its covered! if not, i iwll talk to Michael about using the tax insentive for it! hehe.....ill keep yall posted! think good thoughts!
also, I was thinking about going ONLY fri night which would cut the cost in half ( we were origninally going to go both nights!) |

I might be wrong, but the way I read the events link, the Friday evening "cookout" with grilled burgers etc is free of charge, but the Saturday lunch that will be made there at the campgrounds will be "available for purchase" as a a part of the fundraiser. But I'll be happy to share my P B & J sammich with you!
