OK folks do we have any idea of where? I live just south of San Antonio.

If you back up in the thread, we were thinking maybe Temple, where I am, because it's very central meaning less driving for the members.  Plus, it's right on I-35.  There's a real big park a few blocks from my house with picnic tables, tennis courts, and lots of running space.  It's not a doggie park so it isn't fenced, thus leashes would be in order (for my girls at least, who can't be trusted off-lead).  But we're open to any other suggestions.  I thought maybe when it warms up a bit, but before it gets hot.  Maybe April after income tax time?  I'll have to go to San Antonio at least 2 times during income tax preparation stuff for my 84 y.o. Mom.  I won't know those dates until my brother, who has to fly in from Seattle, lets me know when he'll be in Texas.  That's why I thought after April 15th would be good for people and definitely better for me.  It's not usually hot yet in April.

Thank-you. I'm easy just let me know. Are you bringing your "kids" with you when you come to San Antonio? Are you going to have a chance to go and play? Noodles n Me will be waiting!!!!

Oh, no, my very intense (shall we say) brother will want me to remain in "all business" mode while he's down doing helping income tax stuff (since Dad died 3 yrs. ago, Mom's estate is very complicated for taxes).  You'd have to know my brother to know I wouldn't be able to touch base with you on those visits.  God knows I love him, but he sure can be a trial to be around sometimes.  Extreme example of Type A personality.  Mom lives in a retirement community known as Air Force Village just off Lackland AFB and they don't allow dogs on the premises, so no, my girls come back home to Temple with hubby until we finish up taxes with Steve.  Then Steve, Mom and I drive back up to my place for a few days (because it's much more comfortable than her apartment she insists on keeping at a sweltering 78-80º year round.  )

But one of these trips down to Mom's when we're just going for an ordinary visit, we'll have to get together for sure.  I just saw on your profile you're in Floresville.  How far from S.A. is that, exactly?  I'm not familiar with it.
