This annual April gathering is sponsored by SouthEast Rat Terriers Yahoo Group (a great group of around 60 members), which I belong to. Most members are from Georgia, Florida, N.C., S.C. and Alabama, but a few like myself are from much farther away. It's lots of fun according to prior attendees.
I'm in Texas & haven't been able to attend yet due to family & health problems both years, but a fellow Texas member has driven over and said it's a ball! Well worth the drive! Human "Social" on Friday. Saturday, dog games, costume contests, races, agility competitions, prizes, and fun for all!
EDIT: This event will be held in Sweetwater, Tennessee this year, not too far north of Chattanooga. It's nestled in the Smoky Mountains and April is a great time of year over there for camping and family vacations. There are several Civil War Battlefields not far away for the guys! Here are the details they asked me to post here for anyone interested in attending:

Last year there was a great turnout: about 50 people and around 30 or so dogs! A field full of spotted dogs romping and playing and not one fight! And the people were well-behaved also.
