A long time ago I asked and pretty much found no one (I think like eight months later I found one or two more). But I thought I'd try again, figuring maybe some more are from my state... or area. I live in Spartanburg county, so much of Western North Carolina is close.

Carly and I are in Goose Creek, SC. But she is a rescue and has other dog agression issues. We are working on them though, and hopefully she will be able to socialize soon!

Besotted with love for my Carly!

Well, good to know you're out there. I got Sophie from a shelter, though she's pretty placid. Rescuing is good. Goose Creek... I've heard of it, but can't really place there. What are you near?

We live minutes away from Western North Carolina. It is about 2 hours to Spartanburg from here.

We should!! Carly needs to get used to other dogs! She has trouble with big dogs, but she has grown comfortable with the shnoodle next door, so I bet she would love to play with another Rattie!

Hi Pamela, we are located in Gastonia, NC - about 45 mins from you... I have two ratties both males that love to get out and visit. We have a dog park about 2 miles from us that we viist weekly, its great they have a big dog 25+ lb side and a small dog side - its great to let our little guys out to run and be safe with others of the same size.

Hey, I just joined today -- no Ratties yet, but I'm considering them in the near future. I used to go to school in Spartanburg, but am now about 1 1/2 hours away (3 from Charleston), but I travel a lot, especially to Spartanburg. I'd love to meet up with some experienced owners and just observe.

(My dog is a Great Pyrenees mix who is great with all dogs, if someone wanted to use him to get their dog acclimated to large dogs.)
