Hey Everyone!
I know that we had talked about meeting on Saturday (4/21/07) but Lance had some plans and Bella was REALLY looking foward to seeing Anna so now we are going to be meeting on Sunday (4/22/07) instead. Sorry for the change of plans! 
Will any of you be able to join us? I sure hope so.
We will still be meeting at Lake Pine in Cary/Apex, NC at 1pm.
Please let me know if you will be able to meet us so we will know whether or not to be on the lookout for you!

Dottie has her first obedience class Sunday at 1PM.  We were looking forward to meeting everyone! Is there a possibility to meet up after class? I am not sure how long you plan to be out.

Aww, Jennifer...how far are you from us? Last time we were out there a couple of hours. Probably depends on the weather. If you don't make it this time, we will be getting together again soon. We usually try to get together on Saturday's...just didn't work out this time.

Morgan-- We are about 30 miles from Cary so Lake Pine is very convenient to us. Dottie's classes are in Garner, so we will plan to come by after. Hopefully we will catch you! My mom lives in Apex and has a rattie too, so we may make it a family affair. Hope to see you Sunday!

| Oh, I wanna come, but I have a baby shower to go to!! (Kevin's cousin...who was told after she had her daughter 15yrs ago...that she'd NEVER have children again..found out on her 40th bday that she is gonna be a momma again...to a BOY no less!!) Alright Jennifer, I feel like a complete idiot. You guys were at the park today, weren't you?
I guess we passed your mom(?) earlier and didn't think anything of it and then when we passed by the 2nd time, I think you were with them and then I got to thinking, I bet that was you! Because I thought I recognized Dottie. But I wasn't sure because I thought you may have said something about meeting people with rat terriers... When we got back around to the parking lot, we waited around for a little while to see if we would see you again but then we left. I feel so bad! I hope we can get together again. |

Yes! That was us! (Mom and Dad were the ones with the black rattie.) I was so distracted by the kids with my mom's friend and their interactions with Dottie (I am an over protective mother) that I didn't even stop long enough to chat and introduce us...how rude of me! At least I know who to look out for next time! We had a great time on our walk today and Dottie did make one new rattie friend. We look forward to the next time...hopefully soon!

I know, I was the same way. Bella is so scared of other people and dogs...it takes her a while to warm up, so I was busy watching her and making sure she wasn't freaking out and then by the time we passed each other and I thought about it, it was too late, haha.
I would like to get together next time though. Dottie and your parents rattie were both SO little and so cute!
Sorry again that it took so long to register that it was you!
I even told Lance and Cristy, that you guys were going to try and meet us out there after your class with Dottie.

Hey! No problem! I live in Brier Creek. Where are you located?
We usually meet at Lake Pine (Apex Community Park) and I'm sure we will be meeting again soon!

Morrow Mountain Sate Park has camping, trails, picnic areas, swimming, etc. I went there camping lots as a kid and it is very beautiful. Albemarle is between Raleigh and Charlotte off of hwy. 49 and not too terribly far off of I-85 for those in Greensboro area.

I probably can't do Morrow Mountain...it does look nice though. It's almost 3 hours from me. Just too far to drive right now.
I mentioned meeting around Greensboro, because Shannon and Jolene were wanting to meet us in Raleigh, which is a 3 hour drive for them and Greensboro would be half way for both of us (about an hour and a half). |
