I have some sad news, at least for me. Aka, Taffy and I will not be able to go to Jamboree this year. I recently had to have some major repairs done on my car and the quote for some house repairs was about twice what we needed it to be. Also, I don’t have the funds to pay for someone to stay with mom, nor can I find anyone to stay with her. To say I am sad, is to understate it, but sometimes things in life just aren’t fair, and I’m getting a whole heaping dose the past month through the end of who knows when. Cheryl, I am so sorry you won't be there. I am still not positive that I will be there either. I know you and your babies will be missed. I was looking forward to meeting you. Carol

We can't attend either but I guess that was a given since we live on the west coast. For those that get to attend, please take tons of pics for the rest of us, okay?

So sorry it doesn't seem to be working out for you, Cheryl. I, too was so looking forward to meeting you. Do look into the suggestion I made on my SE-RT post, though. It's a possibility worth considering.

When you own a Rattie....you KNOW you are in your right mind THE MEANING OF RESCUE Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed, All nicely tucked in my warm new bed. I'd like to open my baggage Lest I forget, There is so much to carry - So much to regret. Hmm... Yes there it is, right on the top Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss, And there by my leash hides Fear and Shame. As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave - I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain. I loved them, the others, the ones who left me, But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me. Will you add to my baggage? Will you help me unpack? Or will you just look at my things - And take me right back? Do you have the time to help me unpack? To put away my baggage, To never repack? I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see, But I do come with baggage - Will you still want me?

Thanks everyone, I know that those of you who are going will have a wonderful time. I'll be awaiting lots of fun photos along with everyone else. Peggy, I will try your suggestions but I doubt I will be able to make it. But thanks for thinking of me. Aloha, cheryl
