My rattie is a 3 yr old type A named Jay. I never thought about adopting this breed until this experience. ( I have always been a big dog person) I decided to support a new foster program that focused on dogs that were too anxious to stay in kennels. These dogs are placed in foster care and adopted out of houses. I have been fostering cats and kittens for 6 years and decided to support this. With 2 days of each other I got a pregnant cat and Jay. He has been with me for 3 weeks and the entire family is in love with him. We decided to adopt him. (note: in 6 years I have never adopted one cat/kitten even though MANY have entered the house.) I wish could post a picture, but even though my profile shows a picture succesfully uploaded, it isn't showing in my posts. HELP

More about Jay (AKA Lil' Buddy) He is very smart. It is obvious he was spoiled and slept in a bed, but he crated very well from the 1st night. Within 1 week he started going and sitting in front of the crate at 9pm and whining until we "put him to bed." He sleeps the whole night and we often have to wake him at 8am to start the day. The best thing about him is that he is wonderfully active and has encouraged me to keep up my cardio with long walks, but can chill on the couch all day with my boyfriend who has a very bad back. Another cute thing is his obsession with pillows, He will not sit on anything but a pillow or a blanket. If one isn't available, then he will make a bed by dragging clothes into a pile and then digging a circle in the middle.

I have one problem, he seems allergic to all chews. Anything I have given him, he has thrown up. Any suggestions on something to help him with his chewing.
