Casey and I are all the way up in the heart of the Redwoods in Humboldt county. In Eureka, and we are trying to get together with anydog lover who would like to play at the park or get to know some ratties. Is ANYBODY out there anywhere near us???

I'm not in that area.  Or at least not without several hours of driving first.  Anyway, I think NikoWafer and Ladyfern and a couple others are in No Cal.  Not sure how close to Eureka, though.

We meet once a month in or around Sacramento. This month it was a field trip to the beach in San Francisco. Most of us are or were with Rat Bones Rescue. We have agilty folks and show folks like us.

There is also a Roseville Dog Meetup group too.

We are about 5 hours north of Sac town

We have family down in Ukiah that we visit sometimes,  anybody able to get around there or Hopland are? I know that it is pritty far for all of you guys. And believe it or not, we don't have any real dog parks, or doggie get togethers here.

Hey you're speaking my home town right there! LOL.. I moved from Willits, CA about 4 years ago, but I still have family there. If I was there I would meet up with ya!

We're in Yuba City - just an hour NE of Sac...good to hear about the groups there - I'll have to check them out. Sorry we aren't farther north!

We are about 150 and 300 miles from both of those last locations. But maybe if you guys ever head north, or if we ever head southwards! It could be fun.

HOW ABOUT REDDING!!! It is only 3 1/2 hours east for us on 299 and I think most of you all can reach it from I-5 ??? I have a book that says they have a fully fenced dog park.......just a thought...open to other ideas

Hi Everyone! I just signed up and am really interested in meeting up with others. I live in Stockton and my rattie doesn't have any playmates in the central valley. She just has a German Sheperd in the bay. I'm willing to meet up where ever needed.

OH, you guys are making me home sick!! I grew up in the Oakland Bay Area, San Leandro to be exact, moved to Alabama 18 years ago. I would love to move back but just can't convince my husband, he's from here . I miss going to Lake Chabot & walking the dogs, it was so peaceful there not to mention the Cali beaches!!  

Ok everybody....lets brain storm! Where would be a good place to meet up? I know it is going to be REALLY HOT in some places, and it would be a really hard drive for some people. I don't go in land much....so come on..who knows a good spot to meet? Maybe we could meet in late spring or early summer so it isn't too hot?  Any Ideas?

How about Redding or Red Bluff? Its sort of in the middle, although its a drive for everyone to get there. I'm not the best person to get advice about this, since I've lived here for 3 years. Yuki is not a big fan of car rides, but to play with other dogs would be worth it. Any other ideas?

I live in Fresno and go to these meetups. I think I travel that farthest to get there but it is so worth it.

Oh that is great! We should do a meet up in Redding or Red Bluff, maybe later in the spring when it's not TOO HOT. Anybody else interested???
