Weel,its the good news bad news thingie! Mysty lost her pups, that is bad news but there will be no pups and thats the good news. She either aborted and took care of the remains herself or reobsorbed them according to the vet. I am kind of relieved. No not so great pups to find homes for. The next BAD news is that the girls dug into Simon's playyard and Taffey played with him! Taffey is a mini aussie! so more bad news, but I am calling the vet today! There used to be a shot they could give them even if it was not always effective. KAN YOU IMAGINE! MINI-AUSSIE/RAT TERRIER PUPS The good news is that Simon likes the girls and knows how to so his job! He is getting lots of practice in too! My strange humor, bear with me in my hysteria! The really weird thing is the border collie was terribly jelouse and whinned at the fence the whole time!! she was too big to fit through the tunnel thank YOU! THANK YOU! GOD! and we found the tunnel and filled it with my giant landscaping rocks, thanks to my son-in-law! so fencing is again on my agenda

Susan - mini aussies/rat terrier mix would make GRAND dogs for agility !!!

Oh no, sorry to hear about the pups being lost. And hope that Taffey isn't pregnant with a mini-aussie baby. That would make for one hyper pup.

The same thing happened with the breeders we got Lucy from. Lucy's parents were bred again this past spring for another litter of pups, and we were going to get one, but better than half-way through the pregnancy, the pups were either aborted or re-absorbed, because there was no litter. No evidence of one, either. Who knows why that stuff happens??? Yes, I'd say you may have to have some pretty sturdy fencing!

Yes, Mysty was supposed to have pups that weekend and now she gets to come play too. As to adgility dogs if I had six people wanting one before the vet gets to her maybe! Maybe not! I am trying so hard to keep them all away from Simon and they are just horrible! You have to know that I have chaparoned weekend field trips with mixed groups of teenaged highschool students and have not had this much trouble keeping the girls away from the boys!!!!!! Either I am getting slower and less suspecious in my old age or bitches are just bitchier than the girls were!
