I was not planning on puppies this year! Unfortunatly my five year old granddaughter just knew that Mysty wanted to play with the other doggies and let her out of her crate and put her in the outside pen. Simon really liked playing with Mysty, but the strangest thing happened...

I had forgotten how able a five year old is. And Mysty and Simon will be having puppies in August. Mysty is two and we never planned on breeding her. Simon is a well developed 6 month old puppy. He really likes this new game that he discovered too and will soon be in his own run and unable to play the game unsupervised anymore.

Both are small, Si is 15 lbs, and Mysty is 12 lbs. I have no idea what colors to expect, probably sable and black tris. as that is what they are.

Does that color site cover sable and how it works?

Well there is always the possibilty that she didn't take. I know that my sister tried breeding her two and Miss Prissy didn't take on either the first or second time she came into heat. It wasn't until the stud got older that his little swimmers did the trick and 4 puppies were born. She never had problems getting preggy after that. (My sister is one of those back yard breeders that I wish didn't exist.)

Oh dear....hopefully you won't be having any puppies. Makes me think of the time my BIL let my Newf out with his poodle. Threatened to send him all the Poofs...luckly for him there weren't any!

No pedigree on Mysty. No papers of any kind. Simon is firemtn. Lovely boy. I had planned on showing him and have just got out of school for the summer. I feel like an idiot, but things do happen. She is very probably pregnant as she is starting to develop her milk glands. But her ears are whippety and fly sideways. As side from that simon isn't old enough to have his patellas done, even if his parents both passed with flying colors. Pets only and spay Mysty as soon as pups are old enough for mom to leave for the day. I had wanted August to be free as I am on fair board this year and involved in fair in Aug. Nothing ever happens as planned! No use fussing though.
