   I think we are done, but I have a weird feeling that there may be another puppy in there. Tinkerbelle won't lay back all the way while they are nursing. She is still kind of curled up, so they are fighting for the top row of nipples. They are so precious. I'll post pics later, I just wanted to give an update. My 2 girls are piebald...precious spot patterns. 4 boys are black tux like their daddy with various white blazes and necklaces and 1 boy is a piebald white/black like the girls. They all weighed under 6 oz and the runt is just under 5 oz. They are nursing right now. They can walk and climb and are very advanced for their age! I guess they are tri, but it's kind of dark in the room and all I can see is black and white spots!

YAY!!!!!! Tinkerbelle and you did it! Yippee. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I may have to come to Atlanta to visit family (hee hee) just so I can come by and see those babies! I have to leave now for an appt. but I'll be checking in as soon as I get back for updates and hopefully photos. Hope you and Tinkerbelle can get some must needed rest today. Congratulations! |

I was worried too. They didn't start until about 4:30 am and I was just praying that they would come because I didn't want to do a c-section. I knew she could do it if all those shelter dogs can do it with the total lack of care they had been given. God came through in the 36th hour, which was the cutoff my vet had given me to really think about c-section.
Poor Tinkerbelle screamed in pain with that first boy. He was the hardest and then it took 2 hours before the next girl came...then all the rest came within the next 2 hours. One slid out and I dont' think Tinkerbelle even realized it at first. Wish skin kids slid out like that....Not that I ever want to do that again!

Oh, I am so sorry that you lost your Peanut. Please post pics of your babies under the photo forum. You may have to shrink them to 125kb, but then it's easy to post. We all love puppy pics here! Where are you located?

Welcome Mail Man. Are you really a mailman? Have you put out flyers looking for Peanut, or checked the local animal shelter? Is Peanut a rattie too? Did he have a collar with tags on?
