Although somewhat controversial, I've enjoyed the posts concerning reputable breeding practices. It's nice that we can come together and express our opinions openly on this and other subjects ... and agree to disagree sometimes. None of us will ever be able to stop the "backyard breeding" practices... or the puppymills that are flourishing across the world. All we can do is become more educated on the subject and do our part... as small as it might be... to improve the breed and do a small part in rescuing the ones who end up in shelters because of health issues due to improper, unethical, breeding practices... or behavior issues, through NO fault of the dogs... but fully through total fault of we humans.
I enjoy the interaction of the breeders on this forum with those of us who are not as knowledgeable. As noted by several others, most of us are just people who love their ratties and want the best for them... regardless of where they came from.
Just wanted to express my opinion... and encourage ALL of us to become more patient with each other... and more knowledgeable and educated.

Very good advice, Nora. Maybe when we read a post that strikes a nerve, we should go outside and clean up the dog poop and cool down for a while before we respond to it. I know my hubby would like for me to find something that motivates me to clean up the poop more often.  |

Didn't you say that your husband was teaching Bob some new tricks?? Teach him to go in one particular spot or even better teach him how to pick us his own
