My female rat terrier (Lacey) is going to be 2 Feb 2nd. My male (Jack) is 8 mos old. Lacey came into heat early Nov. It was her 3rd heat. Jack was more then willing to mount her and she let him. They never locked, though he did penetrate. This is our first attempt at breeding her and I have been researching, but found no definite answers. Can my female be pregnant even though they never locked?
