Isn't a "Feist Terrier" just another name for a Rat Terrier? That's what I told these people about a week ago when they had Mia listed as a "Heist Terrier" and were at that time asking like... $75. Now she is "free to good home".

| I believe that Feist is another name for rat terrier. And she sure looks like it to me. She reminds me of Nitro. Free is an awfully good proice for a sweet little ratty! |

All ratties are feists but not all feists are ratties... feists were bred with some other things to become rat terriers, but we're under the feist "umbrella", but there are dogs that are feists that are not rat terriers (like tree squirrelling feists)
However, feists aren't necessarily considered terriers, so if they're calling her a "feist terrier" she might be a rattie.. though I looked at the pic and she looks a little "off" so I think she's actually a feist, not a rattie... but feists are rat terrier cousins... |

They don't know what kinda dog she is. They first had her listed as a Heist Terrier cause that is what the woman they got her from said she was. I emailed them and suggested they had misunderstood, and the woman actually said Feist Terrier. The photos they have posted in their ad now are not near as good as the ones before. She looks alot like the Ratties on this site to me.
Whatever she is, I don't understand the reasoning for them wanting to rehome her. I wish I knew that Bijou would get along with a female cause I would then try to give her a home.

Here's a clearer photo of Mia. I forgot about her thinking birds are toys. I have a room full of birds, so she wouldn't work out here anyway.
