Welcome Cora, I volunteer with Russell Rescue and have 2 rescues myself. I love your avitar, it's so cute!

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

I love your avatar! This is a good board, lots of nice people.
I'm hoping to get one of the type B/teddy puppies or younger dogs from that puppy mill bust....and that spay/neuter help would come in handy! Waiting on word from Sherri and my state coordinator who I'll get.

Hey Alice's mom,

Russell Rescue is the bomb!  They gave me a courtesy listing for a JRT foster of mine who was impersonating a rattie.  I placed Stretch through Russell Rescue in Florida.  The day she was placed on your website, the apps started flowing in.  I was SO grateful!

Hello, Vickey! You should have gotten your quit ticket numbers this morning. If you didn't, let me know, okay?
Our quilt this year is absolutely stunning - go to www.resQQuilt.com to see it.

I'm very glad to see that everyone is welcome here, and it is not exclusive to just the members of one rescue group. Our theory at ResQ is to put the dogs first, not human egos. Rescue is NOT a competition, it is a charity. There is no exclusivity in charity, and no room for inflated egos.

And I promise everyone here that I will not engage in any silly middle-school spatting about the various rescue groups. Heck, I wish there were a thousand rat terrier rescue groups, maybe THEN we can save them all. Our policy is cooperation and civility, and I promise to show that in my actions.

THANK YOU to everyone to extended me a warm welcome!

I changed from an AOL mail account to a Yahoo. As long as you say you got the info I am good.

Hi Wendy,

Thank you!  That's Dodge, one of my puppymill boys.  He has come a long way, but is still very fearful.  He's such a character though, and loads of fun.  We're working with him constantly and hope (believe) he'll be adoptable in just a couple of months.

There's just something about the PM dogs that makes fostering so rewarding...to watch a terrified dog who has known nothing but the inside of a cage it's entire life blossom is a wondrous thing.  One of my PM 3 just "graduated" today and moved on to another Florida foster home where she will round out her socialization.  It was a proud moment!
