I spoke to the owner last week. He's in Brooklyn, NY and wants to surrender his dog to us. I asked about possible issues, and he said the only thing he does is bark at strangers, but shows no aggression, and will warm up after a while. He's good with cats and children. The dog is about 4 years old, purchased from a pet store, is neutered, up to date on vetting and has papers. He's a very handsome boy.

| Ugh! Sue, what would I need to do to help him out? Cost is a big issue right now, but I really would hate to see him dumped somewhere. |

Sarah,
If you can take this boy, you can GAP him for us... that way you don't need to be a fully screened screened fosterhome. He's already neutered and up to date on shots, etc... so there would be no expense to you in connection with that.
I think he'd be adopted fairly quickly - he's a purebred with papers, and very handsome.

Thanks, Nora! I may be asking you for help with the 3 legged boy if things go the way I hope!  This little guy - if Sarah can GAP him, and if the owner can get him out of the city and upstate some what, I think between Sarah and me, we can do the entire transport... between us... |

Man, he could be Tinkerbelle's brother. They have very similar markings right down to the pink inside his nostrils! I just can't imagine wanting to dump my pet after 4 years of lovin'. I hope everything works out with Ratbone Rescue for him. |
