So is she taken care of then?

If she's not in any danger of euthanasia anymore, then I will pick up a dog that is from my local shelter, but if she's going to get put down then I can take her if I can figure out a way to get her to Texas.

Twila will be taken from the shelter after Labor Day by Mardi, a Ratbone volunteer.  She will then come down here to me for fostering.

This has been a good example of how people cooperating together, no matter what rescue they represent or even if they affiliated with a rescue, can get a dog to safety.  I can't wait to hold this little girl, she reminds me of my own 2 teddy girls.

Please post pictures ASAP.

There's something neat about being able to change the destiny of something else - without your actions that dog would be put down, but due to your actions she will get to live a happy life.

Maggie,

I love when you post.  I get to see that Angus happy face.  Makes me smile.  Those teddies sure do something to us don't they?!

Everyone,

If you know anyone on the route of the transport feel free to share the info with them.
