I don't think his owners took him out much.  He gets very excited when going outside, will bark just out of excitement.  And I don't think he's ever seen a cat up close...at 2am we got up to potty and he encountered our cat...he started barking like a mountain lion was in the house!  Not like he wanted to eat her or play with her but like he was shocked and scared of her.  She turned around and flicked her tail at him in feline distain.

He's housebroken so far.  He slept in our room last night but in his little doggie bed as we've 3 in the bed already and just can't fit another one in there.  He's sticking to me like glue but also likes to snuggle with Bill so no problem with men.  I think he just needs lots of exercise and firm leadership.  We'll see how it goes tonight...but so far he's a pretty kewl doggie! 

He would be awesome at flyball or agility.  Does little spins in the air, very acrobatic.

I think it's high time you invested in a larger bed, Mary Beth...   Do we need to take up a collection to make sure this happens?

I love Beacan!!  Such a pretty little boy!   (I'm glad you have him)

Then add on a new room.... there ARE Ways to make this work, ya know!
