Awwwww...she is sooooo pretty! Looks all Rattie to me...I don't see Jack at all? She is a doll! Wonder why they won't / cannot, keep her? Hope they are not "giving her away"!!! Esp in that area....

That area? lol What's wrong with the area? (It's where I live... well, within an hour, anyway) And I won't be offended, I just honestly want to know. I didn't know the area had any stigmas and I'm curious. I know it's not perfect, and have only started warming up to it in the past year or so... and it'll be fifteen years I've been living here come October.

I emailed her owner, asking why she's getting rid of her, and such... I'm thinking if they contact me and say they still have her maybe I'll refer her to the ratbones GAP... and when I looked close at the picture... there is something weird around her neck, above the collar... see what I'm talking about?

No offense meant Pamela!!! I also live in the South...born here...and S.C and Ga country areas are reknown for Dog-fighting and for Lab "Harvesters" who (both) cruise want ads for free animals...that's all I meant. I make it a habit of contacting "free dog/cat" ads in Craig's, and our local paper, to ask them to please charge a fee for their "free pet" and why. For the most part I have received positive responses. Many people just don't think about that or have any knowlege of it so they assume "free" means a quicker home... Regarding that pup..she IS a cutie! (Also, looks like perhaps a flea collar above her reg collar?)

Maybe a flea collar. It kind of looks doubled up though. But I admit, we just use normal collars, none of that fancy harnesses and things for our pups at this time, so I thought maybe it was a fancy collar... or something weirder. I haven't heard back from the person yet, I hope I will. And I know what you mean about the harvesters, sort of. I was surfing those same ads and there was one that gave me the willies-- it said it was looking for puppies and would pay more for whole litters. (shudders)
