Oh, I just went and checked out Mary Beth's new rescue puppies brother.  He is still in the shelter in Oconee County, GA.  He is so adorable.  Please somebody has to adopt him!  Do you know how long he has MB?

Here is the link to Speckles. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11261294

This shelter has found homes for all the other siblings and mom so I am hopeful they will find him one too or we will get space. They have been working really hard at the shelter so I don't think he is in danger. They actally reached out to me to help them rather than the other way around which is a good sign.

Thanks for your concern. We just don't have the space to get them all into safety. But we all do our best!

I hope they can adopt him out.  We are so full right now it's sad.  Just today I got an email on two really cute young pups in Ohio too:

I think they are more like 5 months old but not sure.

I tell ya, if anyone wanted a cute pup this is the time.

I saw.  Lil cutie pies.

Having a group like RT.com is nice because the members really care for their rattie kids. Don't have to worry about finding their ratties in this situation.

WOW! Fill me in....pULEEZE!!!

Just after July 4th I saw a group of really odd colored pups (mom gone) in a Bishop Ga shelter and posted them on here...never heard more. Even wrote the shelter...??? No response.

Are these the pups I saw????????

If so....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! They were sooooo cute!

I rechecked and they were "gone"...I just assumed the "worst"...

Those are the same dogs!  All but this boy are adopted or in rescue.  YEAH!  Sorry I missed your other post.  You can always email me directly with needy ones in Georgia and I can add them to our list.  Its kind of like a waiting list =(

They look to be standard size ratties that will fill out to about 20lbs.  This is a real Rat Terrier coloring too.

Neat, huh?!

Guys, yes that's Wulfie's brother.  I could only take one pup and had to choose between him and Wulfie so looking at his brother's little face makes me so sad!  However, I've still got Morgandy until August 2nd and I just couldn't take 2 puppies with Morgandy still  not totally housetrained.

I'm so hoping the shelter will get this little (er big!) guy adopted.

MB -- Could you take him after Morgandy? Is there a way to buy him time until Aug. 2? I'd chip in money to sponsor him.

The shelter told us that they would call Paula and let her know if he was in danger of being PTS.  That way she could try to find a place for him at that time so I don't think (although I don't know this shelter so I'm not sure) that he will be PTS without them contacting Ratbone first.

I've got some interest in Wulfie already so if I have to I will take his brother after Morgandy leaves.  My house isn't the best for young puppies as I'm gone 10 hours a day and they have to stay crated too long....it hinders the housetraining efforts.  BUT if no other foster parents have room then I'll take the little (oops....big guy).

The pups both are so cute! I know it is so expensive to fly them..but If he gets in a jamb with full foster homes in his area, I would love to take him! I am always ready to squeeze a pup in!! I LOVE fostering pups
