Morning all.. i finally heard back from ratbones and they have agree'd to pay for ladys HW treatment.  I am still being asked to pull her under French Bulldog Rescue group (which is fine...) since i'm not a foster mom - just a GAP person - however i did go ahead and fill out the foster mom application so the deal is if i am approved as a foster mom she will stay with me - if not then they will send her to an approved home - which is fine - she will be alive either way and will make someone a wonderful pet.  i cant imagine not being approved except i have a picket fence - not a 6 foot fence (although i do have a six foot fenced dog area that is 15x24 for unsupervised play) and they know the history of my husband not initially liking this.. i think he has come around more.... but anyway we will see.  tomorrow i get her at 8:30 and i'm going to start calling around today to check into local HW treatment - if i cant find a good price i will take her to oklahoma where she can get treated for $150... versus the usual $300 - $500.  Anyway, keep her in your thoughts.. i have no idea how bad her infestation is right now but she is young so i dont think it will be to bad.  also, keep her in your thoughts if someone wants a rattie - once she sucessfully passes treatment she will be listed on ratbone rescues for adoption :-)  and of course i will keep ya'll posted with pics.  have a great friday!

Oh, this is great news!!! You are to be so commended, Robin, for not only saving a rattie, but saving another one who is ill and not likely to be adopted in her current condition and giving her a chance for a full and happy life with a good forever family Bless you!!!!
