a very nice lady came into my job today... middle aged, recently out of work and lost her home... she is moving in with her daughter in a no dog housing building. she wants to find her puppy a loving good home...FOR FREE!!!!
1 year old lhaso apso... white with cream markings!!! Up to date on ALL SHOTs. Has papers... Not spayed. Great with young kids.
She is located in ELMSFORD, NY!!! This lady needs to get a new fur-ever home for her puppy by mid next week. She was going to bring her to a shelter but MANY NY Shelter are KILL SHELTERS!!!! I think i talked her out of it.... HELP!!!! are there any places/fosters for Lhaso Apso? I cant take her... my parents just lost their shih tzu and refuse another dog... HELP HELP HELP!!!!

| There are many small breed rescues and probably ones specific to Lhasa Apsos. |

| thank you! i am trying locally with people i know and i think i may have a possibility... or i will call these places. my wife actually said she would foster for a month or so... Im excited... she is sooo cute!!! i iwll post pics! |

| i spoke with one... alot of paper work to surrender a dog... if i can find a local good furever home i would rather that.. but we will see... selfishly it feels very good and extremely heart wrenching... how do you guys do this daily!!! it would kill me!!! |

I don't know how they do it either (fostering). I have a good friend who does (did) rescue work. She now has 10 dogs because she couldn't bear to part with any of them. I think 10 dogs is too many, personally. But she's single... has an awesome good job... they are all well cared for. I don't know how she does it.
She said she had to get out of rescue work because her house was full.
I'm afraid I'd be the same way. |

i met her for 10 mins and she glued to me... i fell in love... reminds me of my lil princess (shih tzu) RIP last month or so ago...
my wife likes short haired dogs though... i dont know if she would keep her. i would! |

Nora - that is why at RBR fosters aren't allowed to adopt their own foster dogs!
Really, we have 2 fosters at present plus our 4 personal dogs and it keeps me extremely busy. I wouldn't have 2 fosters at one time except that all our foster homes in Georgia and Florida were full and Morgandy would have been PTS at the shelter if someone hadn't gotten her. And what a waste that would have been! |

this made me cry... im very emtional person today for whatever reason and know look how i started my day off

Gosh, I'm sorry! It's ok, she's safe and sound and probably sound asleep in her crate right now...dreaming of bully sticks!
