Bethany (gwacie) had a great idea! She makes beautiful handmade lampwork beads and she made some gorgeous doggie beads and forwarded them to Jan (Katie’sMom) to make into two doggie necklaces to be raffled for a fundraiser for our favorite charity Ratbone Rescues.
The total value of the lampwork beads in the two necklaces alone are valued at $75.00!!!! For $5.00 a chance, your Rat Terrier can be the proud owner of one of these necklaces.
Necklace #1 is sized to fit a neck approximately 10” to 11-1/2”
Necklace #2 is sized to fit 11-1/4” to 13” necks
However – both can be resized to fit YOUR Rattie by adjusting the small black and red beads!
Again, cost per chance is $5.00

Thanks you guys. Jan did a lovely job putting them together! I made the glass main beads but Jan donated all the filler beads and materials as well as her labor in putting them together. I hope lots of folks like these and buy a chance or two.
The main beads are glass, handmade by me in my glass studio. The process is called lampwork - but it is essentially torch work (melting glass in a propane and oxygen mixed torch and then annealing them in one of my brick kilns). We went with colors that will work for male or female doggies and Jan has generously offered to resize for any winner who needs their piece larger or smaller. |

They're two different necklaces and the sizes are different -- BUT -- I will gladly make adjustments on either one to size to your dog by added or taking away the plain beads (those are not gwaciebeads).
