He is one of the sweetest dogs - but all rattie. My sister and BIL were just here for dinner and they melted - and they are cat only people! He's just such a good boy and he wants to please so much. Once he gets past some of his fears there will be no stopping this boy. I won't put his profile up on RBR until I get back from my show this weekend. I know as soon as he goes up if anyone sees him they will want him and I'll have to say goodbye (once the right home comes along). I'd love it if someone from this board ends up being his adopter - it would be sweet to see him grow up!

wow....awesome, adorable, cute , smart widdle guy!!!! I noticed that Nora aid that she "wants him" but hasnt given reasons why she isnt going to take him......whats up Nora hmmmm????  Bailey wants and needs a brother!!! hehehe...whoever gets him will be SO LUCKY!! |

I have already mentioned this to hubby... and shown him the pictures. He says "no". I would LUV to take this little guy and work with him... he does remind me so much of Bailey! But logically speaking... I know hubby is right. I work full-time... have my mom in a nursing home I visit 3 times a week... do agility with Bailey... and various other commitments... and I'm simply spread too thin as it is. I know it... I realize it...
But the emotional side of me is crying out for this little guy. Bethany lives only 1/2 hour from my brother ni Michigan, and I have discussed this with her-- gosh darn it would be SO easy! It's hard when your logical side fights against your emotional side, isn't it? |

Bethany, it's not just the photos. While photos are good, they can be lackluster until given life with captions. Your captions brought life to the photos, helped us learn/know more about Dawson...and showed us Dawson's personality. YOU gave Dawson a voice!!

| Aw, that's sweet of you to say Debbie. It was easy since he has quite a distinctive personality actually (in a very good way). He's just such a playful happy pup. It always amazes me how dogs that have had horrible experiences can come through, bounce back and be better than ever! I have to call someone who is interested in him this morning and I have to be unbiased which will be hard since I am not sure I am ready to part with him yet!! |

I looked at all of these this morning also. I'll be honest... it's bittersweet to see him go up for adoption, as this is one little dog who "spoke" to me through the pictures Bethany has taken and just his overall "look", which is very similar (I think) to Bailey's look and I guess I'm a bit partial, eh?
If Bethany can't keep him... and I can't have him (and trust me... I've TRIED to talk to hubby about this possibility and it just isn't gonna happen)... then I pray he ends up in a loving, forever home with a family who will appreciate him for what he is. If I know ANYthing about Bethany... I know she will do her dead level best to assure this happens.
Silly me... am emotional this morning about all of this. *slapping myself*... |
