Yes!!! I'm still interested!! Had som issues at home this morning- just got in to work where I have access to a computer. Gwacie, please keep me posted on her temperment and personality. As I'd said before, I'm looking for another submissive dog like my Chloe.
Oh my goodness, she sure looks cute and sweet. Oh- and I'm also interested in her size,weight too please - when you find out. Thanks so much!! |

 Terri, you are smitten girl. It might not be until next week - the lady who has her temporarily for us says they tend to be a bit slow moving down there. Do you have your ap in already? Might as well start the process, it can take time. Tell them you are waiting to hear more about Gidgette fostered by LindaK. She can't be placed until she is evaluated and fostered for a little while but not too very long. |

Yep! I put in my app in with them back in March. I will contact them and let them know I'm interested.
Just so you know, I've also got my eye on a little chocolate gal in Washington too (see separate thread on her from today) - but nobody has bothered to call or email me back yet. These 2 little girls have really captured my heart with their eyes and stories, so I'm really hopeful one of them works out for us and can come home to us. Keep your fingers crossed!! Thanks again Gwacie for all the info and pics etc . |

Update on little Gidgette.... I've have been in touch with her RBR foster mom, and after being spayed at the shelter, and getting her home, Gidgette has had a really rough and slow go of recovering. Her foster mom took Gidgette to her vet yesterday and found out she has breast cancer in 3 of her breasts! Which explains her recovery and behavior this past week. When I got to work and opened my email and found this out I almost cried. I feel so bad for this poor little babe. The vet said there was no way the vet at the shelter didn't see the cancer when they spayed her!
Good news.... Gidgette will have surgery on the 17th and it sounds like the vet will be able to get it all and she'll be able to recover and have the happy life she deserves. Gidgette is estimated to be about 7 years old and is a real sweet heart.
And although Gidgette is not the girl for me (foster mom and I determined this before even learning of the cancer) I have found another RBR girl to rescue and hopefully bring home soon to love on forever!!
