I'm not sure if this shelter is a high-kill or medium-kill shelter. They only have one photo of him, and he's only 6 mo old. His age and small size may make him highly adoptable, if it's a med-kill shelter. But this is in Eastern OR, which is not highly populated, and I hear, that smaller dogs are not really valued in rural areas like this. They can become coyote bait-or cougar bait, etc. (Who knows? It probably just a rumor.)
This shelter is about 3 hours east of me. I would be available for PU and transport to Portland, OR, if needed for any legitimate RT rescue group. |
