on the ratbone rescue site to be a volunteer with rattie transports, home visits or pulls. Guy said absolutely no way to fostering, not because he is mean but because he loves so much I don't think he could handle the goodbye's. I am still working on him though. Since I cannot foster I figure I can do other things to help. I already volunteer with Russell Rescue but I would be very proud to help Ratbones where I can too.

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

That is awesome! Every volunteer position is important! Where are you located?

You keep working on hubby. Think of all the lives saved just by caring for 1 rattie extra at a time. =)

Now you can assist with the Ratties and have an important part in their path to a forever family!

I am located in Cleveland Ohio. I am very excited and happy to be a volunteer and part of such a great organazation such as Ratbones. I am a Russell Rescue volunteer also, but there is always time for more responsibility right??

I just signed up. I have two rat terriers, one named millie and the other one is sarah. They can be a hand full at times. Just like to know if yalls rat terriers have allergies? My husband and I have been fighting with millies allergies, she take a shot every other week. Thank God sarah doesn't have allergies. Any ideas would help.

thank you,Bkono

Bkono - you might want to start a new topic in the Heath Forum so that more people see your question on rat terriers and allergies.....

But to answer your question, yes, my Mayfly has bad allergies both inhalent (pollen) and food (corn). It is the one health problem that rat terriers are quite prone to have.
