Does anybody know anyone who might be interested in adopted a rat terrier?  The info I have on him is he is between 8 to 10mths neutered male. He weighs about 12 lbs and his name is Petey and he's very playful and loves everyone and is very good around all dogs. If anyone is interested let me know.

So where is he, why does he need a new home and is he in any danger of going to a shelter (or worse)?

He is in WV and he's not in danger of going to any shelter. I got him from another rescue place in hopes I could help him.  I guess you could say i'm fostering him. When I got him a month go he came here very thin and very timid. He has put on some weigh but he is very scared of alot of things. He is crate trained potty trained with some accidents if not let out every hour very good with other dogs. Not sure about children. He does litke to bark alot. He does need some training for jumping if your sitting down he just runs and bolts at you sprining off your chest. He can be very wild at times but he seems to be calming down some. Just thought I would give you guys a try to see of anyone is interested or no anyonre who might be. Thanks

You might be able to GAP him through Ratbone. That is where you continue to foster until they find a home. Not sure what the requirements are for that. You can ask at http://www.ratbonerescues.com/

Ratbones also does "courtesy listings" I think...not sure if that is the same as the GAP program or not. I suggest contacting them to see options you might have.
