I am so absolutely thrilled to report that we have reached our goal to cover ALL of Tiny's current and anticipated vet expenses thanks to the generosity and love of everybody who donated!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! I've updated Tiny's picture page to include Tiny & Dr. Wey, the cardiologist who performed Tiny's surgery.

To date, we have collected approximately $2875.00 towards Tiny's care - that's about $30.00 more than what we expect to need. $500 of the monies collected was a grant that I applied and was approved for - and $565 came from the wonderful people who donated to the Middletown Shelter where Tiny was originally pulled from. Some came from donations collected through Tiny's Raffle - that's a whopping $1310!!! A wonderful woman down in Middletown, NY saw Tiny's story and sent a $500 donation also!! I am so very blown away and humbled by everybody's generosity!!

Since Tiny's Raffle still has approximately 2 more weeks (drawing is Sunday, May 11), I would like to continue fundraising to help little pay for Mystie's surgery!! So now it's going to be called Tiny/Mystie Fundraiser!! Here's pix of Mystie and her pups:

As you may recall, Mystie was a blind, pregnant 10 year old girl who was dumped at a shelter in Texas and her owners told them to euthanize her. The shelter didn't have the heart to do it, and Ratbone was contacted, and we pulled Mystie and she was fostered in Texas. Mystie had her pups and is ready to have surgery to remove her cataracts, but she needs to be flown from Texas to Caroline in Florida where she will be having surgery. I have priced cataract surgery for my Sasha, and I know it will cost between $1,500 and $2,000 approximately for Mystie's surgery, so from today forward, all monies collected will be put towards Mystie's care!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!! You all are so very awesome. These "broken" dogs who are so easily tossed aside, absolutely deserve a second chance and touch my heart!!
