I started another thread about a little girl I am fostering for Ratbones as of Thursday of this week that is in a shelter where they regularly sell the animals in to research.  I started to investigate what I could find out about this shelter. 

There is all kinds of info on this shelter (Montcalm, MI) online!  This problem has been ongoing and it's been on the news it seems a few times.  UGGHHHH!

I don't watch it either....BUT...

I do know she is a HUGE dog lover...and her Pup Mill Show drew millions of viewers....so, a show educating the public about so-called "Rescue" shelters SELLING animals JUST rescued, to LABS for heinous "research", would be a HUGE draw.

Just google her show...should have info on submitting future show ideas.

You have the shelter info, the volunteer remarks...the research.....BUT, you are correct in caution. That shelter could become VERY unresponsive to Ratbones Rescue....

So, rather than NAMING the actual shelter, perhaps just the FACT? That it is a not an uncommon occurance?

Hey Gwacie just a thought but I would contact the ASPCA and the Humane Society and make them aware of this shelter that sells dogs to research. I bet they would be a great resource to get results.
