Sarah posted about this little boy last week before she knew I was already contacted about him:

Here is Tiny's story:
He has a condition called PDA, which is a birth defect that is easily corrected with surgery. However, surgery is very expensive, and the shelter cannot afford to do it, and without this surgery, Tiny will die.
Here is Tiny's Petfinder Page (check out the video at the top of the page):

I have contacted a local vet cardiologist, and he does do the surgery, but it will cost between $1,800 and $2,100 +/- . I have a fundraising raffle idea that I'm waiting to get the OK on and I've contacted a local news reporter who is a huge animal advocate to see if we can get him some exposure on TV to try to solicit some donations to help with Tiny's surgery from local viewers.
I feel so strongly about saving this boy, and I'm on a mission! My fosterhome in Albany, Michelle is going to foster him, temporarily or perhaps permanently depending on how things go.
Thanks Everybody, be on the look out for a fundraising raffle to help pay for Tiny's surgery!! |
