Cammie is an adorable Rattie girl who is on her way to her Ratbones Foster home in Florida.  She is staying with me for a few days and then will be transported down to Georgia, then on to Florida.  She was a stray at the end of her time from a South Bend, IN shelter.  I'm so glad she became a ratbones foster as she is really a wonderful girl.   Very sweet, lots of love and kisses, house trained as far as I can tell so far, gets along great with the other dogs, loves to play and loves to be in your lap too.

I put some photos of her from today's pick up here:

My hubby is in love with her - pity we already have 4.  She will make an awesome addition for someone.  She is less than 2 years old as best the vet can and very healthy.

awwwww... look at that precious face! I don't get it... she's so pretty. Why would anyone give up a dog like that?

She was a stray. I can only guess the owners didn't check enough shelters? She's such a good girl. Did I mention she's house trained? She does need to learn a few manners (jumps up quite a bit etc) but she's going to be an excellent dog for someone and would be a GReAT second dog for anyone who needs a companion for their current rattie!

OH and Nora, she would be an AMAZING agility dog. You should see her bound over the big snowbanks left in the yard. She soars over them!

Just an update - Cammie has been here since last Saturday and she is a hoot. Everyone in the house loves her. She and the Peanut run each other ragged doing laps and tumbles inside and out. This girl should REALLY be an agility girl. She has 'created' places in our yard to leap over. There is the spot where the pipe comes out and hooks up to the air conditioning unit and the pile of brush from last fall that never got moved out and the little valley. So she has created a circuit to run where she ON PURPOSE goes to those obstacles so she can leap and soar over them as she runs. And she is FAST. Faster than any other dog here and they are all in great shape. She would make an awesome agility girl.

If I lived out in the country (with no dog restrictions) I'd be applying to ratbones to adopt her myself, she's that sweet. I know she will make an awesome high energy playful pet for someone. Looking to get into agility? She'd be perfect!!
