Anyone in, around or have a good contact for a home visit in the Glendale, Arizona area?  We have a great (on paper) family ready to go if their home visit goes well.......

From personal experience this past Monday, these home visits are easy to do. Just ask the questions on the questionnaire Ratbones sends you and observe the  potential adobtees and their surroundings. Look for anything dangerous and just point it out. I loved the people I met on Monday and plan on doing a doggie play date when they get Duke home. I have permanently volunteered to do these kinds of visits when needed in my area. I was hesitant at first but it was just a wonderul experience. So if anyone is in the AZ area ... GO FOR IT ... you won't regret it for one second and you'll help find a doggie a forever home. I'm so glad I did it ... it's the next best thing to adopting yourself. PLEEEEAAASE!!!! Trust me!!!!

Home visits seem like the one of the "fun" parts of rescue.

We're in Cali so it's pretty far to AZ.

Just a thought~Have you considered a video if some arrangements can't be made? We did this for Jake. His Foster Mom was moving so we were in a crunch too.

I would do it in a heartbeat if I were closer.... please keep me in mind for this area (close to Nashville, TN).

I hope someone responds to this!

I live in MS, the furthest thing for AZ, but I have a dear friend there, wonderful person, who I am going to email ad see if she would help out a great rattie family. She isn;t a dog owner, but if she is back from being out fo town, she may be willing.
