Unfortunately, Texas (like Kansas) has many more Rat Terriers in shelters than we have foster home spots. We have 2 from Texas flying to Washington state this week. A fair number of Texas RTs get flown to our coast foster homes. I've not been able to do that in Kansas as I'm so far from an airport it isn't practical unless I could get someone else to help get the dog on a plane.
If you have considered fostering, keep in mind, even if you only take one foster at a time, you are saving that one dog, then the next one.  |

OH MY!!! Those who have more than one of these cutest greatest rattie guys are Baaaad influences!!
I LOVE that little "Lacy"...she is soooooo durn cute..bet Yogi would be loving her (he's getting bored with me)...too darn bad she is in Texas. Waaaaa! I want her!!!!
On that same site is a beautiful Catahoula Leopard female who's owners dumped her..and her eyes....... Sooooo sad and so resigned. Like her life is over. She is only a year and looks numb. Empty and sad.
I hate looking at those sites...heartbreaking.

If I could afford, or figure out how,to bring "Lacy" here I would...she just has that "look".So cute. Yogi would prob love a companion to fill in for his lazy old "Mom" (me).
ANYONE here watch that Oprah show????
