Good evening!

It is time to reveal my new foster baby, Bossk.  Formerly known as Mr. Biggs.  Since I just met him today I have fallen in love with him.  He will need some training, socializing and TLC - but he is a great guy in my opinion already.

My Avatar is one of his pics.  He and the camera get along well when he isn't stuck to me like glue!

I hope you enjoy Bossk's journey and you will see it through his photo album at www.imageevent.com/rattiemom/bossk

I'm very glad to have him as my foster puppy!

Is this the little guy from our member in Crowley, TX? I'm so glad Ratbones took him and is finding his forever home. I know the young man who had him loved him very much, but couldn't take care of him.

Pam,

Yep, same rattie!  He is doing great!  Pete343 really did love him and that is why he seeked help due to the situation.

OMGoodness! There's something about this little guy's face that reminds me of Bailey even down to the slight underbite and white strip on his head... especially after looking at all the pictures in the album. Gosh darn.... I would take this little guy in a freakin' heartbeat if I could ! What a find !! What a rescue !!
What's his story?
Plus.. Bailey was six months old when I inherited him... a great age!

Rattytatty,

He is an owner surrender from Crowly, TX.  A young man posted on RT.com that he needed to rehome his puppy and tried to work it out, but things just didn't work out.  It's hard for a 17yr old to care for a puppy and go to school, etc.

So after the pleas from the RT.com members I stepped in and figured out a way to get him vetted (owner took care of it) and fly him to me in GA.  We don't have many foster homes in TX.  The members of RT.com and Ratbone Supporters donated enough money to fly him in 2hrs and went above and beyond.

Then a volunteer in TX took him to the airport for me today after picking him up last night and now he is here with me.

He will need to be neutered and get some dental work done, but otherwise is a great rattie boy!

I think I remember something about this... but my memory isn't what it used to be. I shy away from the rescue forum usually because it breaks my heart to see this little ratties in need and not being in a situation to take all of them (I would if I could). I help financially as much as possible... but that's not the same as offering a loving home.
There's something about this particular rattie that is calling out to me....he's gorgeous. Is he as pretty in person? He's got "soulful" eyes like Bailey does... wow....
This little guy is gonna weigh on my heart... big time...

Bailey had to have baby teeth extracted also... wow.... so many similarities!

God bless you for getting him, Paula....

He's got my heart too.  He clings to me, he is not sure about hubby right now, even though he held him for a few hours today!

Although simular to Baily I would bet they are very different, too.  No two are alike and that's what I love about them!  I have two siblings and you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you, LOL!

His eyes tell me he is thinking and ready to get into trouble, but not right away.  HA!

He is such a beautiful baby boy, I knew he was cute from pete343's description, but there is just something about him that melts my heart. Is he a type B??? I can't tell from the pics but he looks small and his legs do look a little shorter, it might just be frm the angle of he pics, but there is something about him that really calls out to me.
I'm so glad everything worked out for the best.

Yes, I would say he is B Type.  I can measure him tomorrow to help describe his size.  He's a bit underweight right now, but we will fix that easy.

I'm so glad you've got him now Paula! He looked like a blurry little cutie in Pete343's avatar and he is just ADORABLE in your pictures. What a little charmer! Thank you for getting him out of there and to your house. So much hard work and coordination, and I feel like our donations were just the "easy part". Bless you!

He's adorable! And he's a B - just precious! I'm glad he's doing so well, too. From the owner's description of him it sounded worse than it apparently is.

I guess if you are an experienced Rat Terrier care taker its no big deal.  I've had one tough case before and this doll baby is not even close.  He just needs typical puppy attention and training.

It is a fun challenge.

You and me both Nora, I've gotten a hesitant maybe from Ricky, so by the time he is ready for a new home, I'm going to try again. There is something about him that I just love. Nothing definite yet, but I am indeed interested.

I've just got to try and talk Ricky into it, but if I don't end up getting him, he would make an excellent match to Mr Bailey.
