I'm sorry it didn't work out, but at least you tried. That's great that the kennel took her back and that she still has litter mates there to play with. I hope that you can own another dog (maybe even a rattie) at some point in the future when the kids are older.

Michael I am so sorry that things did not work out. Thank you for doing the resposible thing by bringing her back to the breeder. I am sure that they will find her a good home. I feel that you did the righ thing for your children. It sounds as though they were just not used to being around dogs. As you say...maybe one day. As Tracey said....maybe a rattie rescue dog? Please hang around RT.com. You are a member of the community rattie or not.
