This little guy looks just like another member's rattie (Brandy's Max) I mean REALLY similar!!

He is in the Burlington County Animal Alliance shelter and they have him listed as a Chi/Fox Terrier (sigh!) From his pic and their description, again, I believe this dog is full or mostly rattie

Meet DUNCAN:

  • Animal: Dog
  • Breed: Chihuahua, Fox Terrier [Mix]
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small
From: Burlington County Animal Alliance

More About Duncan Star Potent

PETNOTE: Duncan is a natural born Agility Dog - Super Athletic, Highly Intelligent with Attitude. (personal note: That is THE description for a rat terrier! LOL!) This little guy with the right training can make it to the top in Agility Competition. A professional trainer will work with you and Duncan to get everyone started on the right foot. Duncan is a two year old fox terrier/chihuahua and weighs 15 pounds. He is great with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date with shots and ready for a new beginning.

Darn!!!   You guys are good.  I wish I could start with more than one.  I have a feeling that we will have a multible rattie house soon.  We have the house and land.  It would be nice to come home from work and see a couple lined up on the wrap around porch waiting for me.

Better to get them used to each other right from the start, then no one has territory issues

Oh, I forgot. Maybe since these guys are in kind of a precarious situation, you might want to mention them to any friends/clients/strangers in line at the store - LOL!!!! You can tell them you have 1,000+ people who will SWEAR they are the BEST breed ever

I will never forget when I got Fred the lady at the rescue told me "terries are like potato chips you can't have just one". I laughed at her then, I am not laughing now. I love both my dogs, I would never trade either of them for the world and they love each other. It's wonderful they have a friend in each other.  I think the lady at the rescue may have been exactly right.
