Any word on Mawmaw? Are you going to be fostering her?

No - a local rescue took her instead.  I think that was the best thing for everybody involved.  That way, she didn't have the stress of flying, and we didn't have the worry about the temperature travel restrictions of trying to get her here to NY in the winter... but she is safe

That is such good news. It's sad at that age some dogs have to go through that, I am really glad she is safe. Is the person keeping her or fostering? You still have room for one more now huh LOL.

How has the group been without Sasha? Sandy stepping up as Alpha?

I believe it's a rescue who is taking her, so I can only assume she's going to be fostered.

Sandy definitely has stepped into Sasha's shoes and she's just one mean bitch! LOL... The 3 boys are trying to re-establish pack order and it's just been one big humpfest lately!! LOL Ben, at 22 pounds, tried to mount Sandy, a B-body small 14 pound girl, and Sandy (right side nerve damaged and all) swung around and just got into Ben's face and bitched him down to where he cowered from her!!!! It was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.... so I think right now they go: Sandy, Ben, and Snoopy and Kaci are both pretty equal and very submissive.... and I think I may just keep on fostering males cuz having 2 alpha females wasn't a very easy thing to deal with sometimes and Sasha and Sandy got into some major bloodshed fights over the years....... at least the boys know when to back down!!!!!!!! The girls would fight to the death.

I agree about the females. Granted the rescue work I do is with Russell Rescue but terriers are terriers and the females are so much more mean. I am glad it's not like that in our human world LOL.

I am cracking up at your humpfest!! Last weekend we had 8 JRT's we had to bathe and get ready for an adoption event right, so they are all in a barn while we bathe them one at a time. These dogs were out of their minds!!  I looked up at one point and Bonnie had a male on each side of her humping her front legs, Dexter was just humping the air and we had Ricky in the tub and Zak was trying to hump in through the tub. OMG, it was insane but so funny!!  The one little guy we had we named JackPod, bet you can guess why........... These dogs are just nuts!!
