This is what I meant in my other post. This sweet little girl is listed as a JRT-mix. She IS a rat terrier. I'd bet my bottom dollar on it. And likely a "pure" one at that. Most ratties do not show well in shelters. They NEED their people!!!

Oh, and just in case your research didn't include life-span. 4 or 5 years old is NOT old for a rattie. They often live to 15+ years of age. And many, many of them are very active throughout their entire life.

4-5 y/o is still very within our age range. Mt. holly is 5-10 minutes away. Looks like we're going to mt holly on sat for meet and greet. You guys are wonderful.

Awww. I knew she wouldn't last long.

How about adopting Mr. Biggs "CROWLEY, TX" rescue post?

He looks like a real sweetie and transport from Texas is doable.
