How exciting, a new rattie addition. I don't know if I would be able to wait till the weekend either. Hope he is still there and that he is all yours. And no, it's not crazy to go before work. The hard part would be to actually make it into work once you have brought him home. Good luck. Hope everything works out.

I might sound like a crazy person BUT.... I might try to go see her tomorrow. The shelter opens at 7 a.m. I could leave my house at 5 and make it there by the time they open. I don't have to work until 9 a.m. I'll probably end up being late for work, but I don't have any appointments tomorrow anyway.
 Keep us posted. She looks like a sweetie.

I think there is some beagle mixed in... but certainly not a full-blooded beagle. Buster is part beagle and is a "pound puppy" and has been one of the best little dogs I've ever owned. This little girl is precious!

| I am meeting her tomorrow! I took the day off work! I called the shelter back to let them know I would be coming in tomorrow morning. I also told them about my e-mail and verified that they were holding Darby for me. I am SO excited! |

| I think I'm going to surprise him. He is excited about adopting another dog and he knows that I have been looking. He also knows all the details of the craigslist rattie debacle. We actually were just talking about all this last night. I told him that it's really hard to find small, female dogs in the shelter here in Lincoln because they get adopted so quickly. I know that he'll be excited and happy, I just don't want him to get cold feet now that it actually might happen. I'm going to wait until I actually have her and then I'll tell him and e-mail him her picture. |
