Mitzy, where did you get that we can't drive him to the freakin' airport which is 30 minutes away from?

No, I don't drive. Does my mom drive? Have you just been irked by my last post? Did you not read any of the other ones first before passing judgement or making assumptions?

I'm just now barely getting around to having my mom call them. She's been pretty busy all week also.

Well, I've emailed them already. They're just waiting for my mom to call since she'll be in charge of transporting him to the airport.

My mistake "Pete"...it seems it's actually you not having the time to get your mom to call Ratbones.  There was no need for your snotty answer.

I've read through this whole drama quickly so it's quite possible I've missed something. And yes, you do "irk" me.  You got the pup and you have a way to save him so just do it.  Sorry if I sound judgemental but I'm on this board because I love ratties and I've been in hard places in life before....but I knew better than to try to own a dog at the time.

Now, I've leaving this thread before I say something really ugly.  I hope you get Mr. Biggs to Ratbones or some other person who will care for him.  He deserve that....he does not deserve what he has now.

Now, I'm leaving this thread before I say something ugly.  Y

I understand your position. I understand what I have to do. I know why you're on this website, I hope you know why I am on here also.

But real quick: I told my mom long before. She is gone at work from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM because my parents share a single vehicle. My mom is at work an hour and a half earlier than what she needs to be, and stays about an hour later than what she's supposed to. She doesn't get paid for it, she doesn't get extra money. She's there because my dad works in Irving which is pretty much like traveling towards North West Dallas from South West Fort Worth.

You're pro-life, pro-health for ratties, so am I. If I honestly didn't care, he would either be out on the street or at the humane society.

Things got good then got pathetically bad after I got him. I'm trying to fix the problem. There's no need for anybody else to give me "snooty" remarks or answers either.

I'll have mom call Paula when she is done taking care of my sick nephew.

I am not that far from Mr. Biggs, and I would be glad to transport him anywhere, if anyone in TX or surrounding area is interested in this little guy. Or what about getting him to Missouri? Maybe we could get a transport going to get him to you brashearsratterriers...?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I see the excuses are still flying..and now it's POLITICS??? SHEESH!

Mr Pete...IF still out there...almost TWO weeks ago you were offered help...see above quote.

LadyLes states she can come and get the pup....since flying him anywhere is out of the question financially (can't even buy a $35 crate folks so flying him is out)..LET HER come and get the dog...get it into a foster..and whoever takes him can deal with getting him to a "forever-home".

This has been going on for MONTHS...since Xmas vacation ended. The dog has been driving the guy nuts, his family is over it,(as is everyone) and the dog is waaaaay overdue removal from the situation.

Sorry (not) to be "harsh" but this situation is ridiculous...reminds me of that nutty woman who came on here for advice about her terrier, then immediately trotted it into a kill shelter. Even after NUMEROUS offers of help the guy still threw in "Humane Society"...stirring the pot.

Paula can assist, but she IS miles away and would have to rely on this guy dedicating himself to following through. She needs someone in the immediate area to get the pup and transport him. And only Pete can expedite this...by being available, at the house, when a volunteer comes to get the dog.

Frikking frustrating.

I would love to help...with that said, I am a full-time student and work full-time M-F. When I offered to help, I was able to do so that particular weekend, but I can't say that I am available in the near future because of my school/work obligations. Pete, I wish you would have taken my up on my offer last weekend. I live 90 miles from DFW, so it would take some time invested to actually get to you. This frustrates me, because I could have had him in vet care last weekend~!~!

This is ridiculous. Pete obviously does not want any help.  There have been enough people offering to do it all for him and he can't even make a phone call. We are all busy with our own life dramas Pete. Get over it! That poor dog does not stand a snowballs chance in Hell of surviving this. You were right on only one point Pete. Contact a moderator to end this discussion. You know where there is help. Take it or leave it. I am so nauseous now. I am logging off. I hope this is gone when I come back.
