What dose every one think it is just a suggestion after reading all of the post and everyone wanting to help?Okay I came up with thought and Eveyones input is needed(mostly from those that donated to Ratbone Rescues). Okay here goes, from what I can tell everyone so far has overly exceded the money wanted to raise for Ratbones (A RESCUE SOCIETY), more people want to donate still. Yes including me. WELL Tempe needs a home and quick. We know someone that will take this perfect pup. So my thought is since there is a dog needed to be saved and that is what the money is being rasied for it to save Rats every where. Why not use part of the money to help Tempe get to a loving perment home?? I know some will think this as oversteping my bounds but considering this is what the money is being collected for I wanted to know what others thought of this idea.

The dog is not being rescued. People in Utah are willing to take him. Like I posted in the other thread... I think it is absolutely amazing how people on this website are willing to donate money to help each other. However I am having trouble agreeing this time. To me having a rat terrier from so far away is a WANT because I'm sure there are ones that are much closer and more convenient to get. Things would be different if it were a case like Henry where death was imminent and no one was going to adopt. However in this case there are people in Utah who will adopt this puppy. Basically I am distinguishing between a WANT and a NEED and I can't see how there is a NEED for this dog so much that people have to donate money. In emergencies I think it's great we can help each other out, but this seems like its stepping over the line. Basically you can't afford to get the dog you WANT so maybe you should look closer to home or wait until you can afford it. We just bashed a girl last week about how she shouldn't own a puppy if she can't afford it. Can you afford THIS one? NO. Maybe you can afford one that doesn't need a plane ride and in that case go for it, BUT I don't think it's fair to ask people to give what little extra money they have just so you can have the puppy you WANT. Find a dog that has no prospects and spend the money rescuing that one. This will be a waste of money and the little puppy out there that doesn't have anyone interested in it will be the loser.

The people are trying to find someone in Utah to take the dog. I have spoken with the people and so far no one wants the dog. See what happens every time I want to help a critter I get it shoved up my butt! I don't WANT OR NEED THE DOG. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT A GOOD LIFE. Check your PM's Hayden, you won't like what I had to say but too bad so sad. Deal with it. You leaped before you looked.

YOU WROTE THIS: "I just spoke to the girls mother and they have had several calls locally from people wanting the dog." SO I STAND BY WHAT I SAID. Find a dog that NEEDS rescuing and spend all the freaking donated money you want on it to rescue it!!!!!!!!!!
