Why did I look?!    There are three male ratties in the Plano Animal Shelter.  They were all from separate homes/owners.

John Wayne is a cute and sweet little dog who was adopted and returned due to his family moving. He is just the right size for anyone and is so playful! He is 99% housetrained and crate trained too.     Don't they know that ratties are portable?

Remi is a 4 year old who was given up by his owner because the owner had to travel too much. Remi is very friendly with other dogs as well as cats and is also good with children. Remi is housetrained and just a great dog!

Dang!  Their pictures didn't show up very well.  They are all cute, but that picutre of Pippy's face just gets to me.

Think I could talk hubby into one or three?  The normal adoption fee is $75 and I might get an employee discount.

They are not a no-kill shelter, but they don't euthanize very often. They have a GAP program with foster homes. At least they aren't the kind of shelter that puts a deadline on a dog getting adopted.
