I just had to post this girl. I saw her picture and she just made me crack up laughing! And then Dawn (dogparksdawn) just emailed me telling me to go look at her! So, I had to call the shelter about her! Plus, I just like saying her name too... About Lilly Belle: Not in any danger of euthanization!! She has a wound on her neck from what looks like a dog bite that they are treating. Also being treated for demodex mange. Other than that, she's a sweet little girl, spayed, but they don't know how she is around other dogs. They are putting that off until her dog bite is healed. Adoption fee $35 in Jan, after Jan. $69. My name is LILLY BELLE I'm a spayed WHITE/TRICOLOR RAT TERRIER. My age is 2 YRS 4 MO. I'm in the NORTH shelter. My ID number is A1181835, my necktag number is N591, and my kennel number is N043. I would honestly love to go get her... but I have no where to keep her! If we find someone here or around here though, I'll let ya know But the good thing is.... she's not in any danger of being pts

I understand completely about not having room. But if you would find someone to spring her I will gladly pay the $35 for her to go to a loving home!

LOL! The shelter she is in is a nice one. I think the way she looks she won't be there long. Unless you want us to pull her and send her to your house Patricia! Where are you located. lol

Yeah it would cost a little more than $35 to send her to my house. She is just precious though. I wonder how much it would be to fly her here?

Oh gosh I have not a clue. We flew Blade from NC to San Diego 3 years ago. It was a couple hundred dollars. There was restrictions because of the temperature too. IT had to be not too hot and not freezing cold. They go in a cargo area if they are alone. He was only about 10 weeks old and did fine. Just a lil poopie in his crate. Steve and I went to the airport early and I cried for about an hour wondering what kind of torture I put the poor baby through. Ah listen to me I get too gabby by the end of the day. I have about another 1/2 hour at work and put all my work again. Just goofing off.

Steve still swears Blade winked at him when he came out of the crate. I held him all the way home. Ah puppy breath. I had forgotten how to handle a wild puppy! Good thing he's almost 4 now. A bit easier to take.

Oh my goodness! She is beautiful. I am going to put her picture on the frige.....you never know the roomies could have a soft side. Not likely, but she is so cute.
