I know you guys are going to be as thrilled as I am!! I just heard back from Ratbones, and they said if the other adoptions don't go through (like toonces or anyone else) Ratbones is going to go get her!! They already spoke with the shelter and put a hold on her so she will not be euthanized!!! They are 2 1/2 hours away from her, so its no problem to go pick her up!!! Whooohoooo!!!!

oh thank god!!!! Good job to all who had a part in her rescue! I wish I could adopt her. Course if I actually got to adopt all the dogs I've said this about I'd have to get a bigger house!! lol

That is so awesome!! KimRose, you have been a busy girl , it's like a second full time job LOL If I had every dog I wanted to save, I wouldn't even fit in the house with them all!!

At least now I hope Toonces won't feel so obligated if they decide Gracie isn't right for her family. We know Gracie is safe

If ratbones gets her I've prewritten my adoption application. I am ready for this little girl, I wouldn't take in another dog but I like this one and think their is something beyond just a cute shelter puppy.. It's just that feeling you know?

I loving doing this, see I've never rescued a dog from a shelter because I've always bought mine from breeders (az shelters are often rattie free which is very cool) So being able to call these places and make sure these dogs stay alive I just have so much fun!

It snowed today and they closed the shelter before we could get there. Will try again tomorrow.
