These are great ideas.  And y'all are the most wonderful people. The $40 will guarantee (they say) that she'll be not euthanized and kept until an adopter is found. I am most hopeful that either someone on one of our contacts list will perhaps know of someone who would be the perfect fit for her or one of Ratbones connections will. . . keeping my fingers crossed that a miracle happens for any.
Don't we need to go ahead and send $40 until we are able to find a foster home so that she will not be euthanized before then?

Unfortunately, nobody has offered to foster her yet, but if the $40.00 can keep her from being euthanized, then I'll keep working on it. If we can pool together some $$$ for a flight, I think it will help us find somewhere for her to go, however - we still have an issue of who can pull her, get a health certificate for her and put her on a plane.

| I'm going to be in Ohio for the holidays, I might be able to help. I'd just have to see what day you needed me on though, because I will be visiting, I would have to borrow a car. Just wanted to give a quick update with an email from the shelter worker, Tammy.
Thank you very much. She is doing well. I take time to go pay attention to all the dogs there everyday. I give them treats everyday and pet and talk to them. She is the cutest thing when she starts jumping up for her treats. Once again, thank you for your help.

I'm having no luck finding a foster home I've been asking my friends and family back in Ohio but no one can do it... either they have dogs, or can't have a dog. Arg... I wish we could do something...
But at least it sounds like she's ok... Thanks Tracey, that made me feel a little better |

I just posted about Annie. I know we're just busting at the seams with dogs in our fosterhomes, but I'm hoping someone can help.
If we do have someone, but it's in a different state, can you, or do you know someone who can, pull Annie and start her on a transport? That may be the one obstacle we will face in this case...

Sue, I am in Cleveland but I would be willing to go start her leg of the transport. I can drive the two hours to get her and start her on her journey to a home. Please let me know

I just saw this. I hope that someone can find a home for this sweet little dog. I swear the way some people treat their pets makes me so angry I just want to slap them and try to knock some sense into them!! Why is it that people are allowed to just throw away their pets because they don't want them anymore?  There are some people in this world who just should not be allowed to have pets. |

| Ok, I'm armed and ready if we can find the SOB that did this. I'd go find him myself if I only knew where he was hiding and he'd never have another thought about ever owning a dog or even a hamster for the rest of his life. Sorry sons of @$&$)#$##()(&^%^$%&^&^, bleep de bleepbleepbleep sorry, rant hit me. I would love to be a foster parent but can't at this time. Or I'd take her in a skinny minute. Phil and I are talking about a buying another place out in the country somewhere in a year or so but I just don't have a place for more than 2 really and with Ratty and Cameo I'm booked. If she has to be relocated let me know and I'll try to help with the funds to get her moving. Why in the crap do shelters have to be kill shelters???? It's crazy. |

Thank you so much!! I will post about her again, but with the holidays, there really hasn't been a lot of board activity. Did they say how long she had? Perhaps we'll have better luck after the New Year.

| According to the shelter by sponsoring her she has no time limit. So we have some time to find her a foster home or forever home. Hopefully a foster home will come up quickly for her. And if it isn't close to her we will figure out how to get her to the foster home. There is enough of us that we can figure something out. |
